Hourglass is a global leader in luxury, cruelty-free beauty. Having garnered a reputation for reinventing luxury cosmetics through cutting-edge product innovation and artful product design; high-fashion brands worldwide were adopting their market-leading approach as they looked to enter the lucrative prestige beauty market.

In collaboration with the progressive team at Hourglass, we set out to establish a new retail standard in this highly competitive market. Creating a one-of-a-kind cosmetics counter design that would ‘own the room’ and leave consumers in no doubt of Hourglass’s market-leading expertise.

Artistically balancing a singular, high-contrast marble, the architectural form of the new cosmetics counter design combines unexpected angles and cantilevered intersections with interplays of light. Creating a unique concession design that is as striking as it is inviting. Purposefully elevating their product presentation through order and repetition, and housing a luxurious 'Artistry Bar', our concept delivers an unforgettable beauty experience to all those who visit. Designed as a completely bespoke experience for Selfridges Beauty Hall, our truly distinctive retail design is highly-coveted yet inclusive, and timeless yet daringly in vogue.
