Creating one of the world’s first ‘celebrity’ brands: Café Football

Restaurant interior design celebrating the ‘love of the game’

Café Football and Hotel Football are the result of two world famous footballers converting their love of football into a global hospitality brand, for all fans of the beautiful game. Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville appointed us after recognising our ability to bring game changing start-up brands to life, across both brand identity design and restaurant interior design. In close collaboration we created a creative visual identity system that communicates all the things everybody loves about football, so that their brand expression would emotionally resonate with fans - no matter the team they support.

Next we developed their brand positioning into a hospitality brand experience with the launch of Café Football in London’s Olympic village, followed by Hotel Football next to the iconic Old Trafford stadium in Manchester. We then took the Café Football restaurant interior design concept further afield, with brand experience designs in both the National Football Museum and the training grounds of Singapore’s No.1 youth football club. Creating a more accessible and family-friendly hospitality experience of a traditional 'sports bar'.

Paninis & Panini cards: We designed a playfully creative, restaurant interior design and al-fresco dining experience for football fans and foodies alike.
The beautiful game: our brand communications design agency in London created a graphic language and tone of voice for Café Football which exudes passion and anticipation of kick-off.
Football culture & cuisine: Our football themed restaurant interior design and sports bar offers a welcoming yet energetic brand experience design.
