The home of streetwear culture

Tokyo's famous Harajuku district is where sport, art, music and street culture collide. It's also where the creative community can discover adidas Originals' bold, creative flagship space. Together with the Originals brand team, we designed an experience that fuses this iconic brand's past and present. Spanning three floors, it features many moments to bring people together and inspire and delight even the most knowledgeable streetwear aficionado.

Creative and collaborative

Every element of this space taps into the passions of its streetwear, fashion and sneakerhead visitors. Inspired by The Collection retail concept, which brings the community together, we designed a creative and collaborative living environment made for programming and reconfiguring.

The basement features the blue lounge, housing iconic adidas product ranges and a custom vintage pool table.

Premium, energetic, elevating

Embracing the raw aesthetic of the building, we used bold singular design gestures to create a space in which adidas Originals collections are elevated and artfully curated.

By contrasting raw and polished, the natural and the engineered, digital and analogue, we ensured a premium aesthetic, creating energy and tension within the space. Authentic and credible locally sourced vintage furniture and bespoke art complement the store.
