Le Coq Sportif celebrates the 100th Tour de France at Harrods

To commemorate the centenary year of the Tour de France we have created a shop-in-shop which celebrates the Le Coq Sportif’s involvement in this iconic race, as the brand is sponsoring the iconic ‘Maillot Jaune’ (yellow jersey).

 

The central theme of the design is a yellow ‘mountain range’; depicting the stages and gradients of the Tour, it creates a hanging rail off which shirts can be merchandised, whilst product below sits on shelves marked with the names of the various stages of the competition.

 

The installation will be open from the 12th June until the 7th July on Harrods' 5th floor.

Beats product launch with David Guetta

In a collaboration with David Guetta, Beats launched their new Neon Mixr and Neon Pill product ranges at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, whilst CK designed the conference and VIP area at this exclusive event for key Beats’ retailers from the UAE and Russia.

Tough Mudder!

Our very own Steve Ubsdell put himself through the paces at the weekend as he took part in the endurance event ‘Tough Mudder’; a hard core, 12 mile long obstacle course designed by the Special Forces. Fittingly all of the sponsorship money he has raised will go to the Help for Heroes charity.

 

Along with his team mates he completed the course in 2 hours and 15 minutes and managed to come away unscathed, bar a couple of electrocutions!

Day 3 Clerkenwell Design Week - Domus spring party

The Domus Tile showroom always puts on the best parties, and this year was no exception! With a buffet table Auntie Brenda would be proud of, and free-flowing drinks all evening, this is always a big hit with the Clerkenwell crowd.

 

Although CK didn’t make it in time for the talk, presented by Patricia Urquiola & Mutina entitled "ONLY WORK WITH PEOPLE YOU LIKE” exploring the perils and benefits of collaboration in the design industry, we did get a sneak peak of her Mutina co-designed product entitled ‘Azulej’. Using the latest inkjet technology, Patricia’s designs are printed onto the surface of the durable and stain-resistant porcelain. The muted palette and the geometric patterns create a beautifully timeless range.
